  • Safe, supportive touch is the foundation of my hands-on work. Clients have agency and choice on my table. Folks have the right to stop the session at any time, have control over which areas of their bodies are touched, and control the amount of pressure used. Trauma is stored in the body and sometimes, clients will experience emotions or memories when an area is touched. Your emotions are welcome, and whatever comes up, I will support you.

  • Clients can undress to their comfort level, whatever that may be.

As the therapist I prefer all clothing and jewelry off. Clients will be covered except the area I am working on, and breasts and genitals will always be covered.

We can also have a clothed session if that feels safest for the client, several modalities I use can be combined to create a productive clothed session. Some clients opt for this option when seeking a lighter, more energetic-focused session.

  • Massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, stress, and depression, regulate the nervous system, lower blood pressure, reduce pain sensation, provide mental clarity, improve sleep, aid digestion, improve range of motion, improve circulation, promote an overall sense of wellbeing, and so much more. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care.

  • The short answer is: it depends! Consistency is more important than frequency. When you receive consistent bodywork, it builds resilience. Most clients find that a session once a month feels really good and works for their time and budget. Others have the resources for bi- weekly or weekly sessions. I recommend at least every 6-8 weeks to really feel a difference.
